How to claim and verify your company's listing
Take ownership of your listing and earn the Verified badge by proving you control your company's domain.

Filing a claim
To take ownership of a listing, open it and select "Claim", or navigate to /claim/<listing>. You will then prove control of your company's domain using one of four methods.
Methods of verification
Choose whichever suits you:
- Email: we send a secret link to an address at your company's domain
- DNS TXT record: add a record to the root domain
- Meta tag: place a tag on your homepage
- Verification file: upload a small file to your website
Verification codes are valid for 14 days. If yours expires, you may start the process again.
What claiming gives you
Once verified, you become the owner of the listing (if it was previously unclaimed). You can then edit it to keep the record current. You will also receive the Verified badge, which signals to visitors that you control the domain.
The badge confirms domain control only. It is never sold, and it exists entirely separate from paid placement and voting activity on the site.
