How to file a sponsorship with The Launch Directory

Reserve a Sponsored slot on the homepage, category page or weekly newsletter for your listing.

Updated

The three sponsored positions

You can reserve a Sponsored slot in one of three places. The homepage and category positions run for 7 days; the newsletter position is one edition.

  • Homepage sponsorship ($49): the single Sponsored position on the homepage.
  • Category sponsorship ($19): the Sponsored position at the head of your listing's category page.
  • Newsletter sponsorship ($29): the Sponsored place in one weekly newsletter edition.

Each slot is plainly marked Sponsored, and its link is labelled as such. A sponsorship does not affect voting, or alter any ranking.

Booking your slot

One sponsor holds each position at a time. If the slot is free, your run begins at once. If booked, your run is queued directly after the current booking ends. The dates you would receive are shown on /sponsor and again in your cart before payment.

To file a sponsorship, you need a listing that is live or booked into a launch week. Go to /sponsor, select your listing, and reserve the slot—it enters your cart as a standard purchase. You can also book via "Upgrades and extras" on /account/listings, or during the plan step when you submit your launch.

The record

Once paid, /account/sponsorships displays each sponsorship's status (live, scheduled or ended), dates, impressions and clicks.
