How do I use a promo code, gift or offer?
Enter codes in the cart, claim gifts on your account, and understand what discounts apply to your products and listings.

Applying a promo code
If you hold a code, enter it in the cart at /cart under 'Have a code?' and press 'Apply code'. The discount appears in your cart summary and again at checkout. You may remove it in the cart if you wish.
Codes work as a percentage or fixed amount off the price before VAT is calculated. VAT, where it applies, is then worked out on the discounted total. Some codes are limited to certain products, a set number of uses, or a closing date; the cart will tell you if your code does not apply to what you are buying.
Billboard contributions are never discounted, as the billboard is ranked by actual money contributed. If an item already carries a gift or offer, no further discount may be applied.
Gifts and offers from The Launch Directory
Our team may give you a product free or at a reduced price. You will receive an email with a link, and the gift or offer also appears at /account/gifts once you sign in with that email address.
A free gift is added directly to the listing you choose with 'Use it on' and functions exactly as a purchased product would. A reduced-price offer goes through the standard cart and checkout process at your price, with VAT added where due.
Some gifts must be used by a stated date. If you do not yet have a listing, file your product first at /submit, then return to claim your gift.

- Can I use a code on top of a gift or offer?
- No. An item that already carries a gift or offer receives no additional discount from a code.
- What happens to VAT when I use a promo code?
- The code reduces the price first, then VAT is calculated on the discounted amount where it is due.
- Do billboard contributions get discounted?
- No. Billboard contributions are never discounted, because the billboard is ranked by the actual amount contributed.
