How it started
Zinn Digital® is Neil Lock's company. The platform he is building for it lives at zinndigital.com. Neil grew up with the computer systems on the family farm, the Commodore 64 and the ZX Spectrum, and turned technology into his profession at about twenty. He has spent more than 25 years building software, search and hosting, and Zinn Digital® is where his work in hosting, search and AI comes together in a single product.
The idea
Hosting and SEO, AI-first, in one place: that is what Zinn Digital® offers. One dashboard covers hosting, domains, SEO tools and a services marketplace, in the customer's own language and currency.
What he is building
Footprint-Free Hosting serves SEOs, and Mainstream Hosting covers managed WordPress, WooCommerce, PHP, static and Node sites. The infrastructure under every site is built, tuned and owned by Zinn Digital® itself, end to end. Each site is kept in a kernel-level cage of its own and watched by a proactive firewall and malware scanning, while smart auto-purge keeps its LiteSpeed full-page cache, its Redis object cache and the CDN edge in step. Support comes from a 24/7 AI agent Neil built, with real functions; for developers there is a spec-first API with generated SDKs, a CLI, a Terraform provider, signed webhooks and an MCP server. Reseller and agency hosting runs under the customer's own brand.
What's next
From the first line, the platform was designed to scale beyond a million sites.
