SimpleLogin
Open source anonymous email service
With email aliases, you can be anonymous online and protect your inbox against spams and phishing.

Questions answered
- What exactly is an email alias?
- Email alias is similar to a forward email address: all emails sent to an alias will be forwarded to your inbox. Thanks to SimpleLogin technology, you can also send emails from an alias, making it a full-fledged email address for your contact.
- What is the difference between SimpleLogin and other email forwarding services?
- SimpleLogin is fully open-source with both server and client code available for inspection. It covers all major platforms with browser extensions and mobile apps, can be self-hosted, allows sending and replying from aliases without limits, offers unlimited bandwidth, has no ads or trackers, and functions as a privacy-focused identity provider with plenty of features like custom domains and catch-all aliases.
- What is SimpleLogin's business model?
- SimpleLogin's revenue comes only from subscriptions, which means the product will stay ad-free forever. SimpleLogin is 100% funded by the community.
- Where are SimpleLogin servers located?
- SimpleLogin uses servers from Proton and UpCloud, a cloud provider based in Finland.
- What happens to my aliases when I stop the subscription?
- When your subscription ends, all aliases you created continue working normally for both receiving and sending emails. You cannot create new aliases if you exceed the free plan limit of 10 aliases, and you cannot add new domains, directories, or mailboxes.
